Indian Winter Wedding Ideas

This article is for Indian or desi brides planning for a South Asian wedding in the West during winter. Planning a wedding during the winter requires some thought because the weather can be constraining. This is especially so for Indian weddings, which have lots of traditional wedding decorations, wedding dress colors and wedding themes that may not be in sync with what most people think of when they imagine a winter wedding.

We think that winter weddings can be the most beautiful season to hold a wedding. There is some so festive about December and January, probably has something to do with Christmas and the New Year that makes one feel lighthearted and happy. What better time to throw in a wedding too. But if you plan on having a wedding later during winter, that's all good too! Second reason to love winter weddings, is the snow white theme - absolutely magical.

Here are some ideas on how you can incorporate traditional Indian wedding colors and themes to your winter wedding spectacular!
